As the name suggests in the new Enduro Multistrada, it will have the Testastretta DVD 1262 aggregate that has found it’s way from xDiavel to the Multistrada line. This means that the new Multistrada Enduro will have 156KS and 128Nm of torque from V-Twin aggregates with a variable valve system. This aggregate in Multistrada is Ducati’s direct response to the new BMW R1250GS, which also received an increased volume of aggregates and a variable valve system. As with the “ordinary” Multistrada 1260, also the Enduro version will have 85% of the torque available at 3500 rpm, so we can expect an excellent throttle response, especially in low and medium range of revs.
Ducati Multistrada 1260
Regarding the equipment package, the Ducati did not omit almost anything: ABS in the curves, traction control, front-wheel lift control, hill start assist, two-way quickshifter and semi-active Sachs suspension. All this belongs to the basic equipment package with Multistrada Enduro. Also, the layout on the TFT control panel, which is also implied in basic equipment, it is changed and is now the same as the Panigale V4 Superbike model.

Like the previous model, this Ducati Multistrada 1260 Enduro comes with a front wheel in diameter of 19 “and the rear wheel is in diameter of 17”, but for 2019 both wheels are lighter and contribute with 2kg in reducing the total weight of the motorcycle, which now stands at 254kg, and will be equipped with the Pirelli Scorpion Trail II tires. Also, the motorcycle’s ergonomic has been changed with a lower center of gravity and a lower seat, which contributes to better handling and generally better feel while driving.

For those who like to travel a lot with motorcycle, good news is that the service interval for replacing the oil on the new Ducati Multistrada 1260 is 15,000 km, and a check of the valves for every 30,000km. This is also a move that Ducati puts on the same list with all the other big Enduro and Adventure motorcycles that have received bigger service intervals. As for the colors, for the next year you will be able to choose between the color of the sand that Ducati described it, and the inevitable Ducati red. Price and start date of sale have not yet been announced.
