Audi today officially announced that the E-Tron model will officially be presented at a special event in San Francisco on September 17th.
At the premiere, Audi representatives will also announce all the details of their new fully electric car, and the details will be the price. The company’s statement also states that customers will be able to order this car.
It also states that “Once customers have booked their model, they will be able to track their status over the internet and they will be able to get information from local authorized dealers”. As we have already mentioned, all other information will be officially published on September 17 in San Francisco.
In addition to officially announcing the premiere date, the Ingolstadt car maker on the internet released the tiger photo of the E-Tron model. However, we can hardly see anything in this photo teaser, but luckily, the prototype of this electric model is presented at the Geneva Motor Show.
The prototype had a crossover model with a wide mask of one piece, small air suction units and striking headlights, and the clearance was relatively small.
Since then, we have found that the new Audi company will have an air resistance coefficient of only 0.28 and it will be the first serial model to have a “virtual” rearview mirror (this is about the rearview mirrors that are essentially cameras from which the image is transferred inside cars on OLED screens mounted on door panels.
We also know that E-Tron will have two electric motors and battery capacity of 95 kilowatt-hours.
The first models in store salons are expected at the end of this or early next year.
