The new GLE generation of the Mercedes SUV model was noticed during a test drive with minimal camouflage.
The German manufacturer has begun renovating SUV family and off-road vehicles. After the new G-Class, which was introduced in early 2018, new generations of the GLA, GLE and GLS models are coming soon, while the restyling of the current GLC is underway. In addition, Mercedes has also announced a brand new compact crossover / SUV model, which will most likely have a GLB tag.
Judging by the video footage new GLE, showing a partially masked pre-production car, the new GLE is almost ready for the premiere. On the test vehicle are “camouflaged” the front and rear, but the headlight design and the stop lights are noticed. The new fourth-generation model, which was earlier labeled as ML, and the new nomenclature is GLE looks more sporty than the current version.
Mercedes is now holding the technical details and the ultimate vehicle appearance, and more information will be known in the months ahead, given that GLE in 2019 is most likely to have a world premiere at the Paris car show in early October.
