The day before the world premiere, the photos of the new generation of the BMW 3 Series have been leaked. G20 images have arrived from a car configurator of the popular BimmerPost forum, featuring several models including the M340i, M Sport Package, Sport Line and a variety of interior options.
New BMW Series 3
The first impression is that the BMW G20 has better proportions than the predecessor, as well as an aggressive look, primarily thanks to the new headlights design that are available with LED or laser technology. There is also an increased wheelbase, which gives the car a more elegant profile. Four new body colors are available: Dravit Gray, Tansanit Blue II, Citrine Black II and Vermont Bronze. The interior is dominated by a 12.3-inch multimedia display and a 10.25-inch control panel, new sports seats, new climate controls and new steering wheels. Generally, the cabin works significantly more advanced than the previous generation, both in terms of design and quality.
The top under the hood will be the 3.0-liter B58 in line six-cylinder turbo engine in the M340i, and below it will be fitted a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine in the 330i version. BWM will also offer diesel, plug-in hybrid and electric aggregates for the drive, but will launch them on the market in a different period.
The official Premier G20 of the Series 3 is on Tuesday.
