Renault Alaskan Formula Edition was introduced on the home ground of the French manufacturer on the track “Paul Ricard” last weekend when the Grand Prix of France has won Luis Hamilton driving his Mercedes.

Like the Formula 1 car that carries the Renault logo, the Alaskan Formula Edition is painted in black with yellow details and has special graphics. This would be approximately what makes this special version different from all other variants of the Alaskan model.

Under his hood, a four-cylinder diesel engine with a capacity of 2.3 liters, which develops 190 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque.

So, what do you think, is this a smart move by a French manufacturer, or is it a completely unnecessary step?
