
At the Auto Show in Paris, Skoda presented its adut in the fight for the huge market “cake” that belong to the Volkswagen Golf GTI.
Skoda Vision RS
Czech attack on to king of compact class Golf GTI with the successor of Skoda Rapid, Vision RS concept five-door hatchback. A considerably more attractive and exciting look than Rapid, intended for smaller budget customers, the Vision RS dominates the scene. It is longer (4,356 mm), wider (1,810 mm) and significantly lower than Rapid with a wheelbase of 2,650 mm. Additionally, it offers 430 liters of luggage space, which is 15l more than the Rapid Spaceback version.

Vision RS is focused on a hybrid drive that is powered by a 1.5-liter TSI and an electric motor that together deliver 240 hp. A 75 kW electric motor can offer an autonomy of 70 kilometers. This allows the Skoda “Golf” to accelerate 0-100 km / h for 7.1 seconds. There is no doubt that the producer of Mladá Boleslav has attracted the attention of the car public to its concept.
