The driving, let alone owning the Ferrari 488 GTB, is a dream of many people. However, for those who do not even have enough and who want something more, there is the 488 Pista model. And now the manufacturer from Maranello has presented a special edition of this model with the Piloti Ferrari label.
This special edition of the Pista, the Ferrari Pilot was created as a homage to Ferrrari’s customers who drive their best cars on track trails around the world, with Alessandro Pierre Gvidia and James Calardo specially singing out who last year won the FIA championship of endurance. They drove the model with the AF Corse # 51 488 GTE mark.
Special editions of the Pista model have unique colors of carrots and “racing lines” in other colors. There are also matte black masks (grilles) on the front and rear of the car. Namely, even before the premiere, Ferrari announced that Pista will appear in three more colors next to the Rosso Corsa, which officially unveiled the Pista.
This model is now available in three more colors, and they are called “Blu Tour de France”, “Nero Daytona” and “Argento Nurburgring”. The interior is the same on all four variants, and it is made of black alkantars, carbon fiber, and there are motifs of the Italian flag.
In addition to colors, the Ferrari Pilots edition is exactly the same as the standard Pista. It’s like a little. To recall, this model has a twin-turbo V8 engine of 3.9 liters, which develops 710 horsepower and 770 Nm of torque that are sent to the rear wheels. Thanks to that, Pista from the place to the “hundredth” arrives in 2.86 seconds and achieves a maximum speed of 340 km / h.
So what do you think? Would you opt for a red, blue, black or silver variant before? Or would you stay with the standard version of Pista?
