Today, the new Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 has been under test, under whose holes an electrified six-cylinder aggregate will be built to develop 457 horsepower.
How do we know that the AMG GLE 53 is in the photos? Well on the basis of a detail that looks at the rear of the car. Namely, the newer models of the Mercedes with the mark 53 have specific rounded-off pipes, while those with the mark 63 have quadratic.
Also, at the front of this car we can see less demanding bumper blades and standard mask (grille) coolers instead of the “Panamericana” mask that features models with the tag 63.
It is expected that under the hood of this model will be found the new AMG hybrid drive combining a twin-turbo three-liter, three-liter, three-liter EQ Boost starter / altenator generator, which will develop a total of 457 horsepower and 769 Nm of torque.
The power will be sent to all wheels via the 4Matic + steering wheel control system and the eighth-foot automatic gearbox. Despite being weaker than the GLE model with the 63, this car will reach up to “hundreds” in less than five seconds.
So far, the AMG Hybrid Hybrid Drives have received E-Class, CLS and AMG GT4 models, and the list will be longer and longer in the coming months.
It is expected that the premiere of the brand new Mercedes GLE model will be held at the end of the year, but it still does not know whether this applies to its AMG versions. If that is not the case then we expect them at the beginning of next year.
