A completely new version of the Bugatti Chiron could be presented to the public in August at the Concourse d Elegance in California.
Namely, in the months behind us, Bugatti presented his new model several times on private events, and only to his most important customers. During May, one of these clients attended the Los Angeles event, and after that they discovered that the vehicle looks completely different from Chiron we are used to and that his design is in some way “controversial”.
After that, the media appeared with information from another client who attended the event in New York, that this new car was called Chiron Divo. It was also stated that this model is just one step below the Chiron Sport and that it is much more advanced than the standard version of this car.
Namely, it is said that Bugatti’s people have designed a completely new transmission modeled on those with racing cars, and that thanks to this, the performance of the Chiron Divo will be better than the performance of the standard model. If this is true, the Chiron Divo will accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in less than 2.5 seconds and up to 200 km / h in less than 6.5 seconds.
The primary goal during the design of this model was to drive along the track, and for this reason aerodynamics also improved, which is why the force of the downforce is significantly higher than the standard Chiron.
For this reason, the maximum speed of the Chiron Divo is limited to 385 km / h, which is significantly less than the standard model with a speed limited to 420 km / h. It is also said that Chiron Divo will be the lightweightest Bugatti model till now.
It is also believed that the French automaker will limit the production of this model to only 100 copies, although it is still unclear whether these 100 cars will be counted in 500 copies of the Chiron model as much as they will be produced or whether it’s about the addition of 100 cars.
In any case, the Chiron Divo will not be inexpensive, and it is said that you could sell it at a price of five million euros, which is almost twice as expensive as the standard Chiron sold at a price of 2.65 million euros
